After the stay
Entry into the Master study course
After the two years of studying in France, the last year will be accomplished. Because of the different study orders and admissions to the Master courses of the three German universities, which are regulated in the study orders differently, the current completion of the study degree is possible only at the German university, where you were before the entrance to the integrated study course.
For TU Dresden the following information should be taken into account:
the achievements, which were gained during the last two years abroad (60 credit points or 60 CP) will be wholly acknowledged for the Master studies at TU Dresden.
In the last study year (2. Master year), starting in the winter semester, 60 CP must be gained. Apart from the 15 CP from the lectures, the practical research training should be completed (15 CP) in the winter semester. The practical research training is created for the deepening of the skills and prepares for the Master thesis (30 CP). It is an advantage to contact the research group (professorship) from the beginning of the winter semester, where the practical research training will be accomplished and possibly the master thesis as well. The study events must be chosen according to the desired specialization.
Recognition of the achievements/recalculation of the grades
For the last study year the individual study plan will be generated, where the requirements of achievements (lectures/practical training/tutorials, which have to be visited) are regulated. (The Examination Office makes the form available). The selection of the study events must proceed in compliance with the examination regulations of the Faculty of Chemistry and Food Chemistry of TU Dresden. The contents of the study events are described in the study regulations. You can find all information on the offered lectures, times and rooms on the website of the Faculty of Chemistry and Food Chemistry.
The individual study plan will be generated according to the modules, which were accomplished in France, taking into account the individual module sections of TU Dresden and their grading. In order to enable the assignment to the individual module sections and the required planning of the study events, it is recommended to contact Professor Doert on time. The Examination Office takes over the assignment in the individual study plan. It becomes clear From the module naming, at which institution the corresponding credit points were gained.
For the recalculation of the French grades (20 - the best grade, 0 - the worst grade) in German ones, the formula will be used. This formula is agreed between the partners of the integrated study course.
