The Erasmus+ university program is an ideal opportunity for you to get a taste of European university air! Here, you can be funded for a study stay at a foreign partner university between 3 and 12 months per study phase (BA, MA, PhD) after completion of the first year of study up to and including your doctorate.

Virtual mobility
The possibility of a virtual or combined semester abroad is another way to study abroad (e.g. despite the Corona pandemic). This creates a safe framework for European and worldwide academic exchange in this uncertain time.
Things to know about exchange studies with Erasmus
Those who would like to spend time abroad should start planning it early. It is recommended to inform yourself about the requirements, the application process and the future host country as well as the host university already one year in advance.
Application modalities and deadlines
A compilation of the most important points regarding the application process can be found in the Erasmus Checklist of the International Office of the TU Dresden.
Application period ERASMUS Europe: January to March 15.
(for the following academic year, i.e. for the coming winter or summer semester equally).
It is possible to apply for remaining places in a second application procedure. The internal deadline for this is September 01.
