DAAD - Changes in the scholarship database

The scholarship database for DAAD scholarships abroad has been updated.

Some of the changes and news:
- Chancen.Digital: Scholarships for digital Master studies abroad. The regional application deadlines correspond to those of the Master's Study Abroad programme
- EFR Future Scholarships - Green Hydrogen
- The "Important Scholarship Information" has been revised

Discontinued Programmes
Applications for the programme IFI - International Research Stays for Computer Scientists are no longer possible. All research stays applied for must be completed by 30.06.2024.

Deadlines
The deadline ticker on the DAAD website (www.daad.de) continues to provide information on the current application deadlines for scholarship programmes for funding abroad.

Virtual Scholarship Selection
The DAAD continues to offer virtual scholarship selections and events for its sponsorship holders (www.daad.de).

Selection Procedure
In the call for applications, applicants are now specifically informed that, in order to ensure equal opportunities, the selection committee may take into account special life circumstances, e.g. illness, disability, periods of child-rearing or care, required study financing through gainful employment. Applicants can provide information on this in the last free text field of the application form.
