For the fourth time, the French Embassy in Berlin has announced the PEF (Programme d'études en France) scholarship program for France in cooperation with the DAAD.
The PEF enables students of Romance studies or other courses in the humanities and social sciences with a connection to France to begin and complete their second Bachelor's year (or other forms of study before the third semester, e.g. state examination) with an initial five-month study visit to one of the four French universities (Lille, Amiens, Nantes, Toulouse).
In addition to the subjects studied, the study visit includes language tandems between German and French students, a cultural program and initial insights into professional fields of work. The semester is funded with a scholarship of €450 per month. In addition, the PEF offers educational and logistical support for students (support with accommodation).
The aim of the scholarship is to enable mobility as a first experience abroad before an Erasmus stay and thus also to promote language acquisition.
