In addition, Saxony's life sciences industry, with its large number of small, innovative biotech companies, has a high demand for well-trained specialists. Also companies from related fields such as medical technology, bioinformatics, process engineering and chemistry as well as laboratory service providers or plant engineering companies offer graduates interesting entry opportunities. Representatives of regional companies introduce themselves, give tips on application procedures and answer the participants' questions. The workshop is particularly suitable for students of biology, biotechnology, medicine and chemistry, but also for students with an interest in the life sciences industry from business administration, physics, mechanical engineering, process engineering, mechatronics, materials science, electrical engineering and computer science.

Technical requirements: Microphone, camera, stable internet connection (the use of a chrome-based browser is recommended)

Registration for the online workshop takes place via OPAL. The access link to the video conferencing tool (here: Zoom) will be sent to all participants registered with OPAL before the start of the event.
