The STEM-Scholarships of the Association of Friends and Sponsors of TU Dresden are awarded for the fourth time this year and are aimed at first-year students. In extension of the previous call for applications as STEM-EC scholarship, this year for the first time also the application of high school graduates of STEM-friendly schools and cooperation schools of the TU Dresden was possible. This expansion has once again led to a higher number of applications for the scholarship. Thanks to the support of the Mollier-Haus Foundation and a donation from Robert Bosch GmbH for the opening of the Dresden location, a total of 16 scholarships could be awarded this year.

The award was handed over by the Vice-Rector Academic Affairs Professor Michael Kobel and the President of GFF e. V. Professor Kurt Rößner at the premises of NTT Data Business Solutions Global Managed Services GmbH. As a practice partner of the TU Dresden, connected via the working group School and Economy, the company enabled the scholarship holders to gain an insight into practice right at the beginning of their studies and presented the field of artificial intelligence.
