For their project “Establishing a sustainability office (“Green Office”) at TU Dresden,” the Green Office Initiative and the Green Office were awarded the eku-ZUKUNFTSPREIS 2021 (“eku future prize”) in the category for success in science.

The submission described the student-led Green Office Initiative’s efforts to establish the Green Office. The  panel of experts commended the Initiative’s dedication with a level-3 prize of 10,000 euros. The Green Office Initiative is delighted to have been recognized and is already working to develop initial ideas for how to use the winnings.

The Saxon Ministry of Energy, Climate Protection, Environment and Agriculture (SMEKUL) awards the eku-ZUKUNFTSPREIS to projects which make an exemplary contribution to ecologically sustainable development in Saxony and to the protection of our climate, resources, natural landscapes and environment.
