We are very pleased to announce the TU Sustainability Week again this year. It will take place from 19.06. to 28.06.2023. During this time, actors from TUD and the city of Dresden will organize an exciting program around the topic of sustainability. Last year, a climate camp was organized, there was sustainable breakfast and cooking. There were also many workshops and info events around the topics of sustainable science, biodiversity, education and opportunities for action. In order to be able to put together a diverse program again this year, we would hereby like to call on all committed people and groups who feel like getting involved in the Sustainability Week with their own stand, an action or a workshop on the HSZ meadow, in premises or in the city area.

In parallel (19.06 - 24.06.2023), the action "Car-free Campus" is planned to take place on Mommsenstraße, organized by the TU Environmental Initiative (tuuwi). To show how a lively campus without cars can look like, it is planned to occupy the area in front of the Alte Mensa with a variety of art, music and sports activities. There will be opportunities to learn about sustainable actions and engage in an exchange. Program points can also take place here.

At the same time, this week will also be dedicated to the topic of sustainability and climate education and we would be happy if you place topics related to the climate crisis and sustainability in your courses during this period. From a critical question that stimulates an entertaining discussion to a complete adaptation of the lecture, anything is possible. We would also be happy to include your course in our Sustainability Week overview if you would like to open it up to other students. In addition, you have the possibility to hold your lecture outdoors, e.g. on the HSZ-Wiese or on Mommsenstr.
