There were over 160 book burnings perpetrated by the National Socialists in 1933. Only a few places keep a visible remembrance. The project "Scorched Places" does not allow these places to be forgotten. What do they look like today? Will we look at them differently once we know what happened there? And what can remembrance look like these days?

The photographer and founder of the memorial project, Jan Schenck, will present the "Scorched Places" and engage in conversation with the audience.
