Prof. Dr. Jürgen Wegge

Dr. Jürgen Wegge is full professor of Work and Organisational Psychology at the TU Dresden since 2007 (Ph.D 1994 and "habilitation" 2003 from the university of Dortmund). He is the president of the German Work-, Organizational- and Business Psychologist organized in the German Psychological Society (DGPs) and a fellow of AOM, SIOP, IAAP, EAWOP, and several other psychological associations. He serves (has served) on the editorial boards of following journals: British Journal of Management (BJM), Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology (JOOP), German Journal of Work- and Organizational Psychology (ZAO), Journal of Personnel Psychology (JPP), Journal of Management and Organization, and the German Journal of Human Resource Research. His research interests are in the field of work motivation, leadership, demographic change, occupational health and excellence in organizations. He has published four books, four special issues, 49 journal articles and 80 book chapters related to these topics. His work was published, for example, in the Journal of Applied Psychology, Work and Stress, JOOP, JPP, Human Cumputer Interaction, EJWOP, Applied Psychology: An International Review, Stress and Health, European Journal of Social Psychology and the BJM.
