Content and qualification aim:
Module content concerns specific tasks in civil engineering, materials science and computational mechanics, particularly those requiring interdisciplinary solutions. After having finished the module successfully students are able to: (a) apply the acquired knowledge, abilities and skills, if possible independently, individually or as part of a team, to a concrete setting of tasks, and (b) to produce a document with understandable working steps that is to be presented for discussion in a seminar. Furthermore, they are able to work within an interdisciplinary team and develop, convert and present their own concepts.
Type of course:
Project work with accompanying seminar (in total 560 hours)
Requirements for study:
Interdisciplinary methodological competence from module BIWO-06
Credits and grades:
24 credits can be acquired for this module. The credits are awarded if the module examination is successfully passed. The module examination consists of a project work totalling 160 hours. The grade is the grade of the project work.
Frequency of module:
The module is offered every academic year (winter semester).
Duration of the module:
1 semester
