Content and qualification aim:
Module content concerns specific tasks in civil engineering, materials science and computational mechanics, particularly those requiring interdisciplinary solutions. After having finished the module successfully students are able to: (a) apply the acquired knowledge, abilities and skills, if possible independently, individually or as part of a team, to a concrete setting of tasks, and (b) to produce a document with understandable working steps that is to be presented for discussion in a seminar. Furthermore, they are able to work within an interdisciplinary team and develop, convert and present their own concepts.

Project Work with accompanying seminar (in total 560 hours)

Interdisciplinary methodological competence from module BIWO-06
Credits and grades:
24 credits can be acquired for this module. The credits are awarded if the module examination is successfully passed. The module examination consists of a Project Work totalling 160 hours. The grade is the grade of the Project Work.
Frequency of module:
The module is offered every academic year (winter semester).

1 semester
