Brief description
Creation of a climate-indexed road temperature zone map:
All climatic environmental conditions influencing the vertical temperature profile are to be analyzed. It should be investigated to what extent it is permissible to represent this climate-dependent temperature curve by 10-15 corresponding graphs in order to verify them if necessary. From the knowledge of the climatic influences and the resulting vertical temperature curves in the road body, a geographical differentiation is to be made with the aim of creating a KIST zone map. This should provide information on the corresponding frequencies of road surface temperatures and the vertical temperature curves in geographical dependence. In addition, possibilities for influencing the entire temperature problem in the road body in a targeted manner are to be shown. The application of these controllable influencing options should be roughly based on those of the frost zone map.
