The historic Hubert Engels Laboratory in the Beyer Building is currently being reconstructed and converted into a modern laboratory unit as a hydromechanical training laboratory. The expected commissioning is scheduled for 2023. Test series for teaching and training purposes are currently being carried out in the hydraulic engineering hall.
