Range of tasks

The Digital Teaching team supports you in many matters relating to digital formats in teaching:

• Didactic advice on the creation of digital teaching
• Support with technical implementation, e.g. with recordings and streams
• Planning digital and hybrid (teaching) events
• Advice on the use of existing tools
• Collaboration on faculty-specific issues

You are also welcome to contact us with any other inquiries; we will find a suitable solution for you.

For general and administrative questions about the OPAL learning platform, please also use the e-learning support.

Teaching room equipment for digital teaching

There are teaching rooms at TU Dresden that are already equipped for hybrid or digital teaching. Check the overview to see whether, for example, an automated recording of your course, the use of a litter microphone or the integration of video conferencing is possible.

Tools and application scenarios

Which methods can support self-directed learning? How can digital tools be used for this? A method kit has been developed to support lecturers, providing suggestions and examples. The explanatory video shows how to use the method kit.

Accessibility

Digital accessibility plays a particularly important role in the provision of digital materials. You ensure equal participation by implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council. TU Dresden currently offers numerous support services for creating new accessible materials and checking existing materials for accessibility.

Continuing education programs at the TU Dresden

The Center for Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching in particular offers helpful workshops for beginners and advanced learners. There are workshops on the use of existing tools in digital teaching, everything to do with digital examinations and university didactics. The Center for Continuing Education also offers interesting continuing education courses.
