Compulsory Area, General Qualifications

In the third semester of the program, three modules impart general qualifications.  Learn more about them on the German version of this website. 

• Scientific and Practical Work (Wissenschaftliches und praktisches Arbeiten)

This module teaches key qualifications essential for study and work. These include the basics of information research and methods of academic work, as well as presentation, team and project management techniques.

• Private Law in Economic Contexts (Privatrecht im wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Kontext)

You acquire the ability to classify and evaluate various economic issues and problems legally. Topics include the basics of private law, focusing on civil law (contract law, consumer law, commercial and company law).

• Professional Expertise in Business and Economics (Wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Berufspraxis)  

The internship of this module gives you a taste of business-related activity fields and working environments.
