Business Processes and Systems
Summary
Business processes and the systems that support them are the central "backbone" of many companies. But how to design these processes in a meaningful way? How to digitize them and ensure that processes and systems are well coordinated? How do comprehensive business application systems (e.g., ERP, CRM systems) mapping the core processes of a company work? How do you design important weakly structured processes, such as those found in knowledge work, in addition to the often highly structured core processes? Students in the profile "Business Processes and Systems" consider, discuss and question these questions. Naturally, they also learn how to use SAP systems and modern process management tools so that they are always up to date - both theoretically and practically.
This profile is available only in the diplom programs Business Information Systems and Industrial Engineering and Management.
