Until 19 June 2019 you can apply for the scholarship programme "ERA Fellowships - Science Management" of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

With the exchange programme "ERA Fellowships - Science Management", the BMBF supports international networking, it expands knowledge in the field of European science management and builds competencies and cooperation for the long term.

In 2016, this programme was carried out in a pilot for the first time. It was very well accepted and led to closer networking and cooperation between the partner institutions.

A total of 30 temporary stays will be funded for science managers from the EU13 countries. These include Bulgaria, Estonia, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Cyprus.

Guest stays in Germany take place between 15 January and 31 May 2020 and will cover a period of eight to twelve weeks. Afterwards, if requested, fellows from German research institutions can visit the EU13 member states.

The application process is structured in two stages. In the first stage of the process, project outlines have tob e submitted by 19 June 2019 at the latest.
