14th call for proposals on "Development and improvement of biomass conversion technologies for the provisioning of heat for industrial processes" has been opened.
With the current call for proposals " Development and improvement of biomass conversion technologies for the provisioning of heat for industrial processes", ERA-NET Bioenergy invites companies and research institutions from the bioenergy sector to submit transnational project proposals.
Research projects that support the decarbonization of industry and aim for a sustainable supply of bioenergy for industrial heat are eligible for funding.
The total call budget is approx. € 2.5 million. Germany is supporting the call with a total of up to € 500,000 through the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) through the Agency for Renewable Resources e. V. (FNR).
The focus of the current announcement is on market-relevant research and development projects, which have a clear added value through international cooperation, go well beyond the state of the art in the respective area and can be expected to have a short-term market effect.
In order to be able to check the eligibility of German projects from the BMEL's funding programme "Renewable Raw Materials" in advance, German applicants are requested to send a brief summary of the goals and content of the planned joint project and the work content of the German partners to the FNR by January 11, 2021.
The deadline for submitting the pre-proposals is January 2D6, 2021.
