New topics in the updated Horizon 2020 work programme 2018-2020
On 25 July, the European Commission has published an update of the Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2018-2020. Most parts of the Work Programme have been amended by minor details within existing topics, shifts of budget as well as some new topics and other actions (e.g. prizes, financial instruments).
The most striking amendment is the introduction of the new Part 20 “Cross-cutting activities”. It features the call “Next-Generation Batteries” which comprises 6 Research and Innovation Actions (RIA) and one Coordination and Support Action (CSA) and is related to the Focus Area “Building a low-carbon, climate resilient future (LC)”.
Please find the updated EPC overview of the topics and deadlines here [TU internal].
Please find more detailed information on the funding priorities and novelties of the updated work programme 2018-2020 on the website of the European Commission.
