Support from the Service Center Research Data
RDM solutions are as individual as the research groups themselves, and only they can determine when they perceive their handling of research data as conscious and systematic. What works smoothly for one group can be a real challenge for another. But as unique as the concrete solution of the RDM is, the path to it is clearly structured.
Based on the experience of numerous discussions, best practices have been developed within the Service Center Research Data to support research groups in their individual RDM projects. Our method is based on the assumption that every research group is already practicing a RDM solution, but that it is often not perceived as such. This is usually changed by recording the current status quo and documenting it in a brief data management concept. This concept forms the basis for RDM measures in a targeted manner, which we can implement together with you as part of "RDM support".
RDM support is characterized by close cooperation between the Service Center Research Data and one or more contact persons from the research group (the RDM core team). The research group can choose from a wide range of support measures. If desired, the Service Center Research Data will carry out a requirements analysis, develop an implementation plan based on the holistic approach, provide support with RDM project management, offer advice, training and technical assistance and accompany you throughout your change process.
