The German Multimedia Prize mb21, a creative competition for digital, web-based and interactive projects, is once again offering young students up to the age of 25 the opportunity to submit multimedia works and projects .

Apps, computer games or software, robotics, websites or interactive installations, projections and performances are just a few examples of possible project ideas. Each participant can submit up to three projects, while institutions such as professors can submit up to five projects. It does not matter whether the submission was created alone or in a team, whether in your free time or under the supervision of professors and lecturers as a semester or final thesis.

All submissions will be judged in four age groups (up to 10 years, 11-15 years, 16-20 years and 21-25 years) as well as in three special categories ("Media Art", "Group Prize" and Annual Theme). Three projects in each age category will be nominated by the jury and are therefore already guaranteed prize money of €500. The main prize winner receives €1,000, as do the winners of the special categories.

The German Multimedia Award offers the opportunity to express wishes, demands and challenges using different media.
