The Falling Wall Global Call presents scientific breakthroughs on global challenges and key results of basic research by top international scientists.

The Falling Walls Foundation is a non-profit institution that organizes the international science conference Falling Walls Science Summit in Berlin every year. The event is sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the Museum für Naturkunde and the Robert Bosch Stiftung.

The Falling Walls Science Summit in Berlin is one of the world's premier interdisciplinary conferences, celebrating science breakthroughs that make an impact. The summit brings together global science leaders and emerging talents from all over the world. Nominations in nine breakthrough categories: Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Social Science and Humanities, Engineering and Technology, Art and Science, Science and Innovation Management, Emerging Talents (Falling Walls Lab), Science Start-ups (Falling Walls Venture), and Science Engagement (Falling Walls Engage).
