For the first time, the Informationstechnische Gesellschaft im VDE e.V. is awarding the VDE ITG Study Prize.

The VDE ITG Study Prize is awarded annually to young scientists for outstanding master's and diploma theses in information technology, including academic achievements and further commitment to the field . Particular emphasis is placed on originality, the theoretical and practical treatment of the topic, the presentation and form as well as the significance of the work. Applicants should not be older than 28 at the time of graduation. Exceptions are possible in special cases, but can only be considered if they are substantiated when the application is submitted.

The VDE ITG Study Award is associated with a cash prize of EUR 500, a one-year membership of the VDE ITG free of charge, free participation in a VDE ITG conference and a certificate. Up to three VDE ITG Study Awards can be presented each year.
