Citizen Science is a new term for a very old tradition of citizen science. The term stands for the actively involving citizens in scientific endeavors. This means that the population becomes part of science itself. Citizen Science is thus an approach to make research in its many facets more participative. Furthermore, increasing digitization opens up even more room for such participation. With our event, we want to provide a platform for existing and future projects in the Dresden area and to facilitate an exchange on various methods and experiences. A presentation on funding opportunities for future projects will complement the exchange of experience.
