Aims and content
The practical school exercises are part of the so-called "practical school studies", which also include the block internships A and B. They are intended to link the initial theoretical and didactic knowledge gained during the course with the professional reality of teachers at vocational schools. Lessons are planned, implemented and reflected upon under supervision. Within the SPÜ, subject-specific and vocational didactic knowledge is combined with the planning of teaching-learning processes.
Supplementary materials
All organizational and legal principles of the SPÜ can be found in the
- Handout for the Vocational Departments
- Supplement to the SPÜ handout
- Further information on registration can be found on the ZLSB website.
Teaching and learning methods
The module comprises an internship during the course of study, a tutorial (1 SWS) and self-study.
Aims and content
Block B Internship is the last section of the so-called "practical school studies" and is largely carried out by the students on their own responsibility. Lessons are to be analyzed and assessed according to criteria selected in a targeted manner. The knowledge gained from this, together with the basics acquired in the theory course, should then form the starting point for self-planned and implemented teaching units.
Students conduct and evaluate lessons, work out the objectives and content of the lessons, plan the use of methods, media and social and action forms, identify communication and interaction patterns and also deal with the challenges of performance assessment.
Teaching and learning methods
The module comprises the school placement in a vocational school (in a block of
block of 4 weeks) and self-study.
Important information on registration and the internship process can be found on the ZLSB website.
