Inclusion of the professorship for high-voltage and high-current engineering in the UTC

The team around PD Dr.-Ing. habil. Stephan Schlegel, Acting Head of the Chair of High Voltage and High Current Technology at the Institute of Electrical Power Supply and High Voltage Technology, has been accepted into the Research and University Technology Centers (UTC) of Rolls Royce. Henceforth, they will co-develop key technologies for aerospace together with the Institute of Lightweight Structures and Plastics (ILK). The focus is on electric and hybrid-electric flying and currently includes topics on electrical insulation material technology.
