In the workshop session “FMIS in fruit growing operations”, the Chair of Agricultural Systems Engineering will present and discuss the application of FMIS software in fruit growing practice:

    System, process and needs analysis at farm level
    System comparison and farm-specific selection
    System implementation and practical use
    Interface integration and data management

The professorship plans and designs software products and hardware components for continuous automatic data acquisition and supports the introduction of an FMIS system for fruit growing in order to derive recommendations for action to support fruit growing operations.
