Bridging courses
You can alleviate much anxiety before starting your studies by ensuring you are
well prepared for the subjects of mathematics, physics and chemistry.
Our two-week bridging courses usually begin a few weeks before the start of
your course, so that you can refresh and expand your neglected school
knowledge - for a flying start to your degree.

Engineering Sciences preparatory course
The preparatory courses for engineering scientists provide additional in-depth
knowledge in the subjects of mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, IT,
chemistry and general knowledge.
The Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering provides detailed information
about this, such as enrolment procedures, module descriptions, sound bites and

Freshers' Week (FW)
Every year before lectures begin, the Mechanical Science and Engineering Faculty
Students' Council hosts Freshers' Week (FW) for new students. During this week,
freshers are given lots of important information about their course. There are
many voluntary events designed to help you get your bearings in your new city
and at the university. Seminar group registration takes place at the end of this
week. This event is mandatory for every fresher.
