INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS
For international applicants, many things are new and different to those in their home country. The International Office provides information about what language skills they need, whether every school-leaving qualification is accepted for starting a degree program, and which scholarship programs are available. It also answers all other questions about studying in Germany.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AT TUD
The International Office is your contact for questions regarding the organization of your studies, including re-registration and leaves of absence. Information on examinations and the crediting of examination results can be obtained from your faculty's examination office. The Career Service offers coaching services specifically tailored to the needs of international students and individualized advice for the perfect transition to professional life in Germany. In addition, you can find out about all the services available to students for academic success.
SHORT STAYS FOR SUMMER SCHOOLS IN DRESDEN
The exciting summer schools in Dresden offer a great opportunity for international prospective students to get to know the city's scientific excellence and rich cultural scene. Bachelor's and Master's students, PhD candidates and postdocs also have the opportunity to deepen their studies and research in compact and intensive courses in an international environment. STAYS ABROAD AND EXCHANGE FOR TUD STUDENTS
From a semester of study to an internship to a language course abroad - as a student, you will definitely benefit from a stay in another country. The International Office coordinates a wealth of academic exchange programs that enable you to gain new professional and linguistic skills, forge important contacts, and further your intercultural education. They will also help you navigate various funding schemes and scholarships to find the right one for you. The LEONARDO-Büro supports you in planning internships abroad.
THE TUD GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP CERTIFICATE (GCC)
Get connected with the world - become a Global Citizen! The TUD Global Citizenship Certificate is a qualification and award program for all TUD students, including doctoral and exchange students. GCC qualifies, empowers and connects the participants to an international scientific and civil community. It recognizes their intercultural, local-global knowledge, skills, and commitment in the form of a significant certificate.
With GCC as experience, qualification and award, the prospective TUD graduates are well equipped for their personal development, their effectiveness in the international and global environment, their academic success in the broad sense, and a strong and responsible professional future!
