Weekend trip to Thuringia – Weimar and Erfurt
From 28th until 31st of October we will go on a journey into the German history in Thuringia. The city Weimar is known world-wide for its culture, arts and music. This includes “Weimar Classicism”, represented by the two famous poets Goethe and Schiller, but also the beginning of modern design by the “Bauhaus” school of arts. The fascism of Nazi Germany left its marks as well, at Buchenwald, not far from Weimar. The capital of the Federal State, Erfurt, has the greatest and best-preserved medieval city centre in Europe. We will discover this romantic side of the town on a historical tram.
Included in the price:

- Visit of Goethe’s residence and Goethe museum
