Hellerau garden city – social utopia of the modern age
In the times of Industrial Revolution, cities grew but they did not necessarily become uglier! A perfect example for this is the garden city Hellerau, a district of Dresden. On Saturday, June 9th, you can discover Germany's first garden city with us. Join a guided tour around the area created to unite work and housing in a healthy and enjoyable manner also for the working class.
After lunch together at the Festspielhaus Hellerau, famous as the cradle of modern dance in Europe, you can enjoy the fusion of nature and city in the afternoon.
Fee: 7 Euros (pay at the Cultural Office, payment via card and bank transfers are not possible)
