Bike tour to Meißen
Like no other material, porcelain is connected to the city of Meissen. In the placid town located on the river Elbe, Europe’s first porcelain was manufactured in 1710. So let’s visit the “porcelain town”: on Saturday, June 11th 2016, we are going by bicycle, riding along the river and the picturesque vineyard landscape. Once there, we will climb the castle hill to have lunch together at the “Schlosstaverne". After a short city tour, we will learn everything there is to know about the "white gold" at the Meissen Porcelain Manufactory. In the late afternoon, we will return to Dresden by bike.
Fee: 8.00 Euros (Pay before June 2nd )
Included in the price:
- Guided tour through the Porcelain Manufactory
- Lunch
- Bicycle rent
