Maria Reiche Program for Female Habilitation Candidates and Postdocs
The TU Dresden programme for the promotion of academic career paths supports young female researchers with either a scholarship, or with a part-time or full-time position (TV-L 13) for 18 months, with the option to extend the position for a maximum period of six months after a positive evaluation. The deadline for the last submission of tenders ended on August 31, 2018.
Maria Reiche Mentoring Program for Habilitation Candidates and Postdocs
This programme offers women, who are in the qualification phase for a career as a scientist, individual support over a period of 18 months.
Scholarships for doctoral candidates
Scholarship programmes offer scholarships for young researchers over a period of up to three years.
Eleonore Trefftz Program for Visiting Women Professors
The Eleonore Trefftz Programme for Visiting Women Professors at TU Dresden makes temporary stays possible for visiting women scientists who represent their subject in teaching and research at the faculty concerned. Visiting women professors can spend one or two semesters (or up to 12 months starting at any time in the academic year) at TU Dresden. The programme serves to promote careers for women on their path to a professorship.
The Femtec.Network
Femtec, in cooperation with TU Dresden, offers a career building programme that gives ambitious female students the opportunity to set the right course for career advancement in scientific and technical courses yet at an early stage. Femtec offers in particular assistance, support and workshops (schools) for our female students.
Mentoring for everyone
The mentoring programme of TU Dresden offers students a preparation for their professional life. Regular contact with a mentor as well as an accompanying programme offer interesting practical insights, the development of individual networks and the possibility of individual career planning.
