Come with us on a trip to the Lessing City of Kamenz! Kamenz is a small Saxon town in Upper Lusatia and the birthplace of the famous philosopher and poet Gotthold Ephraim Lessing. On a guided city tour, you will first explore the secrets of this bustling town. The tour ends with a climb to the Red Tower, a remnant of the medieval city fortress. After lunch in a typical German restaurant, marvel at medieval and Renaissance art treasures in the Sacral Museum. Afterwards, in the Lessing Museum, you will learn more about the life and work of the epochal poet.
