Weihnachtskonzert "Freude" des Universitätschores Dresden
Überschwängliche Freude, überraschtes Staunen und stilles Glück werden in der Musik als wesentliche Momente von Weihnachten erlebbar. Mit dem diesjährigen a cappella Weihnachtsprojekt "Freude" des Universitätschores Dresden werden die emotionalen Höhepunkte der Weihnachtsgeschichte, wie die Ankündigung des Herrn, die Vorbereitung auf die Geburt Christi und die Ankunft des Heilands, aus unterschiedlichen musikalischen Perspektiven nacherzählt. Dabei vereint das Programm nicht nur Weihnachts- mit Adventsliedern verschiedener Epochen, sondern verbindet auch traditionelle mit modernen sowie zeitgenössischen Werken. Angefangen bei Bach und Eccard über Reger, Lahusen und Bruch bis hin zu Pettman umspannt der Bogen der ausgewählten Stücke mehrere hundert Jahre. Das Kammerensemble lädt Sie zum Weihnachtskonzert am Sonntag, den 05.12.2021, um 17 Uhr in die Loschwitzer Kirche in Dresden ein. Unter der Leitung von Christiane Büttig erklingen Werke von u.a. Jonathan Dove, Franz Wüllner und Edmund Rubbra.
