The primary interest of my research is understanding plant ecophysiological responses to drought and heat stress. To tackle complex questions of drought-induced plant mortality, I use vast ecophysiological approaches to determine their resistance and/or resilience. The key topic of my interest is on leaf-level basis, stomata and cuticle - their role in water loss, and ultimately their impact on the plant survival.
