Core Modules Business Education and Management Training
In Study Track I, you must earn at least ten credit points from these Core Modules; in Study Track II, it must be precisely ten credit points.
All modules comprise five credit points each. The module In-company Training and Continuing Education is offered in the summer semester, the other modules take place in the winter semester.
- Selected Topics in Business Education (Ausgewählte Themen der Wirtschaftspädagogik)
This module deals with various topics from the theory and practice of business education. Possible topics include, for example, how to design teaching units, how people communicate with each other in the classroom, or questions about school organization and education policy.
- In-company Training and Continuing Education (Betriebliche Aus- und Weiterbildung)
In this module, you will learn about various methods and instruments of training and continuing education. You will uncover possible problems when using them in practice and discuss potential solutions.
- Methods of Empirical Social Research in Business Education and Training (Methoden empirischer Sozialforschung in der kaufm. Aus- und Weiterbildung)
In this module, you will learn which methods exist to collect and evaluate empirical data in social research and how to use them in education and training.
- Business Didactics in Practice - Practical School and Company Studies (Wirtschaftsdidaktik in der Praxis – Schul- und betriebspraktische Studien)
This module deals with specific teaching and learning methods in initial and continuing business education, such as business games or case studies. You will plan lessons using one of these methods, put them into practice, and then critically reflect on them.
