Bachelor Wiwi: Compulsory modules Business Administration
There are five compulsory modules in Business Administration. They each comprise 5 credit points and should be completed in the first three semesters according to the curriculum. Together, they provide an overview of the tasks and problems involved in the management, control and organization of companies and thus the business perspective within Business Administration and Economics.
1st semester
Einführung in die Betriebswirtschaftslehre und Organisation |
This module introduces you to the basic concepts and principles of Business Administration and the fundamentals of organizational design of companies. Technology and innovation issues, including industrial copyright laws, are covered in detail. |
Grundlagen des Rechnungswesens | In this module, you will learn about the basic components of internal and external corporate accounting, i.e. cost and performance accounting, financial accounting, profit and loss account and balance sheet. |
2nd semester
Marketing und Nachhaltige Unternehmensführung |
This module teaches the most important basic principles of corporate management in terms of market orientation on the one hand (marketing) and societal responsibility on the other (sustainability). |
Jahresabschluss, Investition und Finanzierung | This module deals with the regulations and contents of the annual financial statements of business people, the evaluation of the profitability of investment projects and various forms of corporate financing. |
3rd semester
Produktion und Logistik | This module is fundamentally concerned with production and cost theory, production planning and control and logistics, i.e. the planning and implementation of the flow of goods and materials. |
In order to take the module examination in Produktion und Logistik , the module examinations on Einführung in die Betriebswirtschaftslehre und Organisation and Grundlagen des Rechnungswesens must be passed (see § 25 Para. 1 Examination Regulations)!
