Energetic Simulation of Dynamic Production Networks
Motivation
"The whole is more than the sum of its parts". Relating to this quote, in the context of energy policy and in close cooperation with the departments of technical logistics and energy technology, research was carried out focusing on the efficient, effective design and the management of company networks. In the subject of resource efficiency regarding energy and logistics processes, some particular issues are addressed that deal with the features of "good" network partners and the requirements for the successful control of networks esp. the information technical support, as well as the implementation of market mechanisms.
Apart from a conceptual modeling of the subject matter, the simulation of the real implementation scenarios is sought for. The conclusions regarding optimization potentials e.g. in form of shared use of heat loss, the expansion of technical infrastructure, the coordination of production programs or the integration of renewable energy sources are allowed.
