As of now, applications for the programme’s second call for proposals can be submitted. The programme is looking for transnational projects covering the topics innovation, low carbon strategies, naturals and cultural resources for sustainable growth and transport.

The central aim of the announcement is to support bilateral networking and consulting projects or projects to prepare new or strengthening existing scientific collaborations.

Funding of research and development projects in the field of Climate Services. The aim is to boost the development of efficient Climate Services in Europe by supporting research for developing better tools, methods and standards on how to produce, transfer, communicate and use reliable climate information to cope with current and future climate variability. Within the framework of the ERASMUS+ programme (Key Action 3), a new special Call for Proposals has been published. This call for proposals will support projects in the fields of education, training and youth. The deadline for submitting proposals is 30 May 2016.

The Federal Ministry of Education and Research supports interdisciplinary networking activities between Socio-economic Sciences and the Humanities and Natural Sciences and Engineering with the preparation of a joint EU application within Horizon 2020. Within the German announcements of the M-ERA.NET II “Material Science and Materials Technologies” Call 2016, transnational research projects with a focus on Battery materials, Materials for additive manufacturing as well as Graphene and graphene-like materials are supposed to be funded. The deadline for submitting project proposals is 14 June 2016.

Within the framework of the cooperation programme Free State of Saxony – Czech Republic 2014-2020, 4 projects have been approved during the first two monitoring committee meetings of the new funding period.
