Technical support from the Service Center Research Data
Research data management should enable researchers to make efficient use of the available IT resources through internal agreements and suitable processes, in order to preserve and possibly even increase the value of research data.
On the way to their own research data management, however, researchers often have to overcome technical hurdles or integrate new technology into their daily research routine. The Service Center Research Data is happy to support you in this task. Our focus is on working with you to set up, connect, and adapt TUD’s IT resources based on your individual needs. Depending on the requirements, the development of small software tools from scratch or the setting up of databases is also possible.
How does this kind of technical support actually work in practice?
During our first meeting, you will have the opportunity to tell us all about your research topic and your technical ideas. Over the course of subsequent discussions, we will work closely with you to develop a technical concept. After that, we offer you support in the implementation of your individual technical project.
After completion of the work, you will be familiar with how the technical project works and will be able to independently maintain and develop your technical ideas. Should you have any questions or if any problems arise, we will be happy to assist you, even after the work has been completed.
