Werner-von-Siemens-Ring
The Werner von Siemens Ring is awarded every two years to outstanding individuals or teams who shape our world with their entrepreneurial and technical ideas. In 2024, the Werner von Siemens Ring was awarded to Peter Kürz (ZEISS SMT) and Michael Kösters (TRUMPF) for the development of High-NA-EUV lithography and the industrial utilization of EUV lithography.
The award consists of the unique Werner-von-Siemens ring and prize money of 100,000 euros.
Proposals must include meaningful reasons (laudation, CV, references, etc.).
Proposals for possible prize winners are expressly encouraged in order to inspire young women in particular to achieve the highest levels of performance in research and innovation with female role models.
