Pauline Hornig (M.A.)
Abschluss 2019
As an education manager, I am part of a two-person team at KindlerCoaching in Dresden. Due to my work in a sole proprietorship, my area of responsibility is very varied. My tasks include training management, i.e. the organization, preparation and follow-up of training measures as well as monitoring and participant management. I am also responsible for marketing activities, such as website maintenance, as well as accounting and controlling. In my collaboration with experienced organizational consultants, trainers and coaches, I also gain experience in project work.
This very broad range of tasks continuously supports me in my very personal development process of lifelong learning. My next professional goal is to complete training as a face-to-face and online trainer, with the aim of deepening my work on personal and organizational development topics.
As a sociologist, the diversity of the degree program's thematic focus in particular helped me to identify my interests and strengths in the field of adult education. I was able to build on my sociological expertise and acquire new knowledge. In my day-to-day work, I benefit above all from the knowledge I have acquired on the topics of organizational development, education management and controlling.
I would advise all students to take an active interest in acquiring practical knowledge and experience alongside their studies, for example through working student activities and/or internships. Knowing where you see yourself professionally in the future enables you to actively fill your time at university with topics that arouse interest and are fun.
