Subproject 4
Occupational field analysis in personal departments to strengthen the dual practical relevance
This sub-project pursues the overarching goal of establishing a closer link between theory and practice in both vocational training and teacher education. Further information on the background, objectives and methods of the sub-project can be found on the ZLSB sub-project website.
Collection of professional action situations
The professional action situations collected here are the result of student work and represent a slightly modified selection by the project staff.
Students from the vocational Department of Health and Nursing conducted occupational field analyses as part of a seminar by interviewing or observing members of various healthcare professions in different settings. Based on the empirical material, the students then formulated professional action situations, taking care to stay as close as possible to the empirical material and to base their selection on the characteristics of authentic professional action situations according to Prof. Anja Walter (2015)1. This has been achieved to varying degrees, so that in some cases cases or descriptions of individual work tasks have been created, which can also enrich the lessons. We therefore cordially invite you to use this empirical material as well.
The professional action situations represent an excerpt from professional practice and can be used for the development of learning situations. The assignment to a learning field or a curricular unit (CE) is to be understood as a suggestion. A vocational action situation can often be used for teaching in different learning fields or CE.
