Inclusive Education at TU Dresden
In 2013, the Faculty of Education established the Chair for Education with a Focus on Inclusive Education. Since then, the Chair has been held by Prof. Dr. Anke Langner.
The Chair is the only one of its type in Saxony, specifically researching the topic of inclusion within general education and not in the context of special education that focuses on different types of special needs. The Chair has the task of integrating inclusion as a topic in all teacher training courses.
The Chair offers lectures for teacher training students in the undergraduate modules for Education as well as in advanced and in-depth modules. For more information, please visit the Studies page.
The research focus points of the Chair are:

- Diversity, social exclusion and participation
- Developmental theory
- Inclusion in extracurricular (political) education
This list is only a sample of the Chair‘s research focus points. For more details, please see the information on staff research.
