Admission requirements
- a first degree in no less than one language-oriented university subject with linguistic components
- basic knowledge in the field of linguistics and/or German as a foreign/second language with regard to current linguistic research positions, theories and contemporary methods of quantitative and/or qualitative analysis
- proficiency in English at the level of B2 (Common European Framework of Reference)
- if the track Language Diversity is chosen, basic knowledge of one of the languages: Italian, Polish, Czech, Russian, Spanish, French, Sorbian, Latin or Greek.
- as well as the German Language Exam for University Admission “DSH 2” (or other recognized certificates) in all cases where the Abitur or the first academic degree, respectively, was not completed in German
- successful completion of the screening interview
