Czech
1. placement
EuroS students with previous knowledge of Czech should contact Šárka Atzenbeck (Czech language lecturer at the Institute of Slavic Studies) before the start of the course. The placement will be done with a written test if necessary.
2. module allocation
For the compulsory elective module Czech, EuroS students can attend the language learning seminars of the Institute of Slavic Studies. In addition, the language courses of the Teaching Center for Languages and Cultures (LSK) can also be used for the Beginner I, Beginner II and Basic I modules.
For each module, 4 SWS of language courses must be attended, either as a double course (e.g. Czech SLS 1.1/1.2) or as two separate courses. Please note that in the case of two separate courses, only one of the two examinations (oral or written) can be taken per course (this applies to the expiring Master EuroS). From winter semester 2020/21, newly enrolled students will only have to take one complex language exam in the language course (4 SWS).
