These three categories are unified through an investment in using humanistic inquiry to denaturalize the present and to inform the future of how we design and envision digital technologies; fostering new methods and practices at the intersection of the humanities, science, and the arts; and interrogating how computational infrastructures and artificial intelligence technologies impact race, environment, and political-economy.

It investigates the political and emotional dimensions of literature, film and TV series, deals with popular cultural phenomena as well as with 'high culture' and assumes that its objects can only be comprehensively viewed if they are historically classified and discursively contextualized.
Research Interests:

- Culture, Emotions, Fear
- Literary, media and cultural theory of disturbance
- Emotional complexes of populism
- Narratology and cultural analysis of the television series
- Medialization of danger and risk

- Experiences of strangeness
