DYNAMO
Dynamic, seamless mobility information (DYNAMO)
This innovative research project deals with the development and prototypical implementation of dynamic information services in order to support passengers before and on their trip from door to door. Developing interaction paradigms for the heterogeneous public transportations systems as well as for different mobile devices and (social) media is the main focus of DYNAMO.
Combining innovative information and navigation services with modern communication platforms makes intermodal travelling more flexible, comfortable and safer. In addition, DYNAMO contributes greatly to a sustainable and an affordable mobility of public transportation. Thus, the fields of research are indoor-positioning, -routing and –navigation as well as intermodal linking, dynamic guidance, social networks and accessibility. The project ends in December 2015.
